In 2018, Paul Sloan exhibited two works from Interior Motives (2015) at Caves Gallery, Melbourne, alongside textiles by Starlie Geikie and ceramics by Marina Mason.
Sloan's collage works, comprising screen prints on canvas with gouache, disrupt interior spaces, create new zones for contemplation, invite unexpected things, people, and events in, and allow juxtapositions and commentaries to arise that are sometimes serious, sometimes tongue-in-cheek, yet always profoundly subversive.
